We are a clean comfortable backpacker and family-friendly lodge under new management located in the Tongariro-Ruapehu National Park.
We are looking for housekeepers/front desk host keen capable and outgoing with excellent spoken English to be part of a friendly professional team who care about the guest experience from the moment they step through our door
The worker must be available for a minimum of 12 weeks. A minimum of 22 hours will be available and 14 will be applied to your accommodation - based on bed in a twin shared room. So any hours worked over the 14 hours will be paid as a wage
Additional hours may be available.
Please note you must have a Work Visa NZ bank account and IRD number to work in NZ.
In this role you ensure that our guests feel welcome and enjoy their stay with a friendly bright attitude and professional efficiency. Duties will include but not limited to reception duties check-ins and check outs using a property management system booking local activities and tours processing emails guest queries cleaning laundry and housekeeping as required. You will also be required to prepare guest breakfasts and packed lunches.
Full training will be provided but you must have the ability to work unsupervised.
Remuneration includes bed in a twin room free activity experiences(for front desk hosts) free laundry use and free unlimited WiFi.
You will be supplied with an employee agreement compliant to the NZ Employment Act which we will happily explain before you start.
