AWF Labour requires Construction Labourers for a variety of roles in and around Christchurch for the busy Spring and Summer months.

 

We need fit keen and relaible workers for the following roles:

  • Construction - Site clean ups material handling and assisting tradespeople
  • Demolition - Strip out and full.
  • Landscaping
  • Scaffolding - Assisting with erection and dismantling

Successful applicants must have a "Can Do" attitude with the ability and willingness to learn new skills and be adaptable. Having prior experience and your own transport would be advantageous but not essential.

 

We're able to provide Site Safe training to successful applicants and full-time positions are available for the right person.

  • Excellence at completing repetitive tasks quickly and accurately with the ability to follow processes
  • A fast working pace and manual dexterity to be able to work on both sides of a production line
  • Excellent attention to detail is required to check packing labels and accuracy of counts and weights

Coupled with these skills you will have a high level of fitness and able to lift up to 20kgs and comfortably stand on your feet for the duration for the shift.

Reliable transport is a must for all roles as public transport is not in service during the hours of work. Hellers Limited is a safety conscious employer; pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for prospective candidates.
