The
Rainforest Retreat in beautiful Franz Josef Glacier is looking for fantastic
reception staff to help through the summer season. We are one of the largest
accommodation providers on the West Coast with 100 rooms ranging from
backpacker accommodation & motels to 5 star rated tree huts. We also have
60 powered campervan sites as well as the very popular onsite Monsoon Bar and
restaurant. We cater to just about every type of traveller and host a large
number of tour companies such as Kiwi Experience Stray Active NZ and Contiki
plus a whole lot more.
Set
on 6 acres of lush rainforest we have a big site with a lot going on!
Permanent Reception
staff are needed. Your role will be to assist guests
with phone internet and walk in bookings offer advice on local walks and
activities and promote the features of our park.
You
must be committed to offering great customer service and exceeding our guest’s
expectations. Be quick thinking and good at problem solving. Have a can do
hands on attitude. Be able to build a rapport with our guests from all
backgrounds and nationalities. We see the Rainforest as not just accommodation
but as a whole experience you will be expected to help achieve this.
Reception
duties will be your main role but you must be willing to help out in any
department if required.
This
is a full time position with flexible hours and days off as well as a fixed
hourly wage plus bonus opportunities. You will be given the chance to try many
local activities free of charge to gain knowledge of their products.

We are looking for a fantastic bar person
to join our small and fun team in our very unique monsoon bar.
If you have great customer service a positive
attitude can work un-supervised and use initiative to create an
atmosphere that people will want to stay and enjoy then we want to hear from
you.
You will be responsible for all aspects of working
in a busy and fun bar in one of NZ’s best tourism hot spots.
The monsoon bar & restaurant is the very
popular on site bar of the Rainforest Retreat in beautiful Franz
Josef Glacier.
We currently have 1 position to fill and are
looking for someone to take us through the winter and stick around for at least 6
months.
A NZ duty managers cert. is required but if you
don't have one we can assist you in obtaining one.

Bar person WestCoast
Hey happy travellers we are looking for international travellers that are motivated and friendly and want to help keep the hostel clean.
We
ask you to stay at least 1 week and work 3 hours a day from 10am in exchange you receive a bed free
Internet/wifi 1 clothes wash a week free pool table and free DVD
rental (we have 400+ to chose from) We also have 2 bikes for you to use.
