The job is split into three shifts everyday 4 hours per shift. To exchange for accommodation (is not a paid job) you're required to work 6 shifts/week. Basically you can negotiate shift timetable with co-workers and it is possible to work shifts successively and have the rest of the week off or take a certain kind of shift to meet with your part-time job need. But it's better to work all kind of shifts and share duties.
The morning shift starts at 10.00 duties include bed making bathroom and kitchen cleaning and vacuuming. The cleaning usually takes 2-3 hours-- we're not a big house. Morning shift ends at 14.00. You could lay back and relax in the rest of your shift just answering phone calls and emails checking people in if necessary.
The afternoon and evening shifts are 14.00-18.00 18.00-22.00. Reception Duties are more or less the same taking bookings from phone calls and emails cheking people in and giving a helpful hand. At the end of evening shift you're also expected to check all the lights and tabs tidying up kitchen for the morning.
